Description
ASTM A193-B7 Fully Threaded Stud Bolts are headless high strength fasteners manufactured of Chromium-Moly steel. B7 studs are typically specified for the assembling of steel pipe flanges and flanged fittings in high-pressure, high-temperature applications. B7 Stud lengths shown are measured end-to-end (overall length), and studs 3/8” Dia. and larger are stamped on one end with the symbol “B7” and the manufacturer ID mark. ASTM A194 Grade 2H Heavy Hex Nuts are commonly specified for use with B7 Studs, typically 2 hex nuts are used with each stud bolt. ASTM A193 specifies the requirements for High Temperature and High Pressure Bolting applications.
