Threaded Rods & Studs are cylindrical metal bars with threads at the end which are inserted into a pre-drilled hole in the material of choice. Threaded rods are used to connect two different materials that may be too difficult to weld together or may not have adjacent threads on one of the surfaces if they are made of metal.
