Metric DIN 580 Lifting Eye Bolts are a threaded fastener intended for use in lifting. They have a large shouldered eye and a fully threaded shank. It is important that Lifting Eye Bolts are properly installed and fully seated so that the shoulder’s contact face is flush against the lifting surface to limit any transverse loads on the shank of the eye bolt. Any angled loading of the Lifting Eye will greatly reduce it’s load capacity. Manufactured of C15 hardened steel to DIN 580 standards.
