Galvanized (Zinc Coated) commercial grade cable which is used for many material handling applications and common uses such as garage door cables, winch lines, tie-downs, hanging signs, and guy wires. Flexible construction runs easily over pulleys. Cable is made in accordance with Federal Specification RR-W-410. The cable is zinc coated for durability and moderate corrosion resistance. The 7x19 construction consists of 19 individual wires laid in a spiral around a center core wire to form a strand. Seven strands are then wound together to form a cable. Breaking strength ( failure point under load) is 5 times the listed working load limit (WLL) with a design factor 5 to 1. Any breaking strength ratings and load limits shown are listed for comparison and reference purposes only and are not for engineering use. Not intended for aircraft use or in overhead lifting applications.
