The 1779802 Lenox Tools 3L Arbor fits Lenox Hole Saws from 1-1/4 inch to 6 inch, (Sizes 20L thru 96L). It features a Solid Hex Shank sized for use with 1/2” and larger drill chucks. The 3L Arbor includes a 1/4” pilot bit and is a durable long-lasting arbor for cutting new holes in many materials. It will also work with most compatible brands of hole saws. The 3L Arbor is a screw-on style arbor with retaining pins, which help provide a secure, stable mount for larger diameter hole saws. A hole saw is mounted on the arbor simply by lifting the retaining pin plate, threading the hole saw onto the arbor and then releasing the retaining pins so they set into the mounting holes on the hole saw. A retaining nut is also provided to keep the hole saw securely attached to the arbor during use. The pilot bit is secured by a set screw and is easily removed and replaced, (part # 1779810), using an 1/8” Allen drive hex key, (hex key not included).
