Viking 4-Piece #56580 GT-4 Type 626 Carbide tipped Glass and Tile Drill set. Designed for drilling glass, tile, mirrors and ceramic materials. Spear point design allows clean penetration with reduced cutting pressure and breakout. Bits feature a round shank for use in standard Jacobs 3-jaw chuck drills. Carbide tip insures long tool life. Carded Set includes drill sizes 1/8", 3/16", 1/4" & 5/16".

Use masking tape to protect the drilling surface from scratches. Apply tape, mark hole to be drilled on tape and set drill on Rotary at a low speed. Apply minimal pressure to start hole and gradually and carefully increase pressure as bit tip bites into surface and begins to remove material. Use of water or other coolant while drilling will extend bit life and prevent overheating of the bit and surface material.
