18-8 Stainless Steel refers to a group of austenitic 300 Series Stainless Steels manufactured with 18% Chromium content and 8% Nickel content. ASTM F594 Grades 303, 303Se, 304 and XM7 are in the 18-8 group. There are no grade markings on 18-8 stainless hex nuts.
