Left Hand spiral twist drill bits are an ideal solution for loosening and removing broken bolts, studs and screws and can be used alone for this purpose or used as a pilot bit for a screw extractor, also called an EZ Out. These left hand bits feature a 135° Split point for fast penetration and easy starting without the use of a center punch or pilot bit. Precision ground point, flutes, body, clearance and drill diameter for the ultimate in accuracy and drilling performance. These quality bits are highly recommended for use in work hardening grades of stainless steel and other tough and hard metal drilling applications. Bits are of one piece solid construction, and are manufactured in the USA of special Hi-moly tool steel.
