Dagger-Tite screws for fastening metal to wood. Often called Post Frame screws or Stitch screws, Dagger-Tites feature a Type 17 auger point to eliminate pre-drilling in wood. The attached EPDM Rubber backed sealing washer creates a leak-resistant seal. The Dagger-Guard Coating provides excellent corrosion resistance in exterior applications.
Installation Tips: Use a screw gun with depth sensitive nosepiece and an installation speed not to exceed 2500 RPM. Overdriving may result in fastener failure.
