Drop-In setting tools are used with a hammer to manually set Drop-In anchors in concrete. To use, simply drill a hole of the specified diameter and depth and insert the anchor bottom end first, open end with internal threads visible should be at the top of the drilled hole when inserted. Then, using a hammer, simply drive the setting tool into the Drop-In anchor to set the anchor's internal expansion plug to the base of the anchor, locking it into the hole. Stop driving the setting tool into the anchor once the tool setting pin is no longer visible and the setting tool body is touching the top of the anchor.
