Heavy Hex Nylon Nuts

Nylon Insert Lock Nuts (or Nyloc) are used to secure threaded fasteners. The nylon material is flexible and has a low coefficient of friction so it can be easily inserted into highly threaded holes without damaging or seizing. These materials, along with their extreme durometer rating, make them ideal for high vibration applications where they will not pick up as much wear as metal lock nuts.
